The Collins Courier

2024

Strictly Marblehead News: This year brought even more summer visitors to our small peninsula. Boaters, Boaters and more Boaters!! I think we have added at least 3 new restaurants that have opened up. It’s nice to have choices! New houses are being built and I wonder how many more buildings this area can accommodate. They are all up for sale with increased prices. Does this surprise you?

Strictly Collins’ News: This year we have had less medical issues however having lived 3 quarters of a century this could change at any moment!!

Mike continues to landscape around our house.

This was one of the reasons we made a decision to move as our lot is much smaller and needs less work. He still gets lots compliments from people walking by the front of our house.

Strictly Baby News: The “babies” are growing! Both Jack and Imogen will turn 4 in 2025. Baby Cian is 1 1/2 years old and is walking everywhere!

I have hundreds of children’s books that I have read to my boys for over 15 years. This Christmas I am wrapping up some of these books to give to the grandchildren. I hope it brings back memories for my boys and at the same time create memories for their children. I can say without a doubt that I won’t be around to carry this out for great grandchildren!!

Strictly Boys, Husbands and Wives News: Derek and Ryan continue to work remote with occasional trips to their headquarters.

Erin is blessed to be able to stay home with her boys. Annie continues to run her therapy practice part time, but is also blessed to be able to spend most of her time at home with Imogen.

I actually have a paid job. I decided to go through the process of becoming one of Chris’ providers. We recently added another provider when he is at his home in Milan but it is only for 1 day for 4 hours in the AM. Looking into other options for him to live so that he is not so alone at his house. Right now he is with us 4 1/2 days a week.

Mike and I wish you all the best now and in the New Year.
